Interactive grid background built as a plain, fully editable Etch tree: section with an aria-hidden grid of 60 small cells behind a plain container holding an editable eyebrow, heading and text. On fine pointers, cells brighten (or, in the tilt reaction, tilt toward the cursor in 3D) the closer the pointer gets, easing back out once it moves away; small vanilla JS throttles pointermove on requestAnimationFrame and only writes CSS custom properties (–_p proximity, –_rx/–_ry tilt) per cell, so the reaction itself is plain CSS transitions on those variables. data-shape on the section (square default | hex, a clip-path) and data-reaction (brighten default | tilt) are data attributes, not props, both read once at init and also switchable live since the CSS keys off them directly. Touch pointers and prefers-reduced-motion leave the grid static (no listener attached, cells stay at rest). :focus-visible is not applicable (the layer is aria-hidden and non-interactive for keyboard/assistive tech); the heading and text remain the real, always-visible content.
