A drum of project frames wrapped edge-on in 3D space, built as a plain, fully editable Etch tree: section > container > header (eyebrow, h2, intro) > toolbar (View and Backdrop toggle pills) > stage (perspective wrapper you drag) holding eight "Reel Frame" component instances fixed at even angles around the drum, plus a floating preview panel. Only the frame is a component, with typed props: image (image), imageAlt, label, tag (small kicker chip, empty hides it), href (empty hides the open-link icon); duplicate, reorder or delete frames in Layers — the drum always re-spaces whatever count remains. Drum options are data attributes on the Stage element (edit them in Etch's attributes panel): data-bg (light|dark) backdrop behind the drum; data-view (arc|expanded) expanded pulls the camera back and spreads the frames further apart; data-autorotate (true|false) slow idle spin when nobody is dragging or hovering; data-speed (seconds per full turn, default 34); data-drag (true|false) pointer drag + touch swipe to spin the drum; data-preview (true|false) the floating enlarged preview that follows a hovered/focused frame. Drag left/right (mouse, pen or touch) spins the drum with inertia that eases out on release; the View pill toggles a wider "expanded" spacing and the Backdrop pill flips light/dark, both are plain buttons that write their state to data attributes and stay pressed-state visible. Clicking or pressing Enter/Space on a frame spins it to face-front with a spring; hovering or focusing a frame raises a floating preview of that photo and label near the drum without disturbing rotation. Left/Right arrow keys spin the drum one step at a time when it has focus; the whole thing degrades to a straight, evenly spaced row when JS is off. Autorotate, inertia and the spin transition are all skipped under prefers-reduced-motion, drag is pointer-only (never required — arrow keys and click both work), and the drum is fully usable and legible on touch, where drag becomes swipe. Landmark header, :focus-visible rings, AA contrast in both backdrops, forced-colors support.
