Editorial split masthead for a shop, as a plain, fully editable Etch tree over a demo photo backdrop. Nav links sit left ("Nav Link" component instances: label, url, current, optional tag), a widely tracked wordmark with a small subline is centred, and the utilities sit right: Search, Account and Bag with a live count. Hovering the nav dims the other links and draws an underline under the one you point at. At the top of the page the header is a tall masthead; once you scroll (IntersectionObserver on a sentinel, no scroll listeners) it condenses into a slim bar, the wordmark scales down and its tracking tightens, and the subline folds away. Search opens a full-width sheet that drops from the top (dialog, Esc, scrim click, close button, focus trap, scroll lock): a large search field that submits to WordPress (?s=), a Popular searches loop that filters as you type with an empty state, and a Current edits loop of three photo tiles. Below 64em a Menu button opens a drawer that slides in from the left with staggered big links, secondary links and a feature card (dialog, Esc, scrim, focus trap, scroll lock, focus to the first link). Options on the section: data-theme light|dark, data-position sticky|static, data-search sheet|full|none (full = search covers the whole viewport, none = hides the search button), data-condense true|false, data-dim true|false (sibling dimming on nav hover), data-duration (ms, default 520). Square corners throughout, one accent (ACSS –primary) on the bag count, reduced-motion safe, ACSS tokens with fallbacks.
