Full-width landing hero built as a plain, fully editable Etch tree: section (backdrop layer + scrim) > container > panel (eyebrow, two-line H1, subtext, primary/secondary CTAs) and, in split layout, a framed visual card. No repeating content, so there is no component — every element is directly editable in Layers. Every option lives as a data attribute on the section (edit it in Etch's attributes panel): data-background (image|video|gradient|mesh|particles) background treatment: a photograph, a looping muted video, an animated two-tone gradient sweep, a drifting 3-blob gradient mesh, or a canvas dot field that drifts slowly; data-layout (centered|split|full-bleed) centred stacked copy over the backdrop, a two-column split with a framed visual, or an edge-to-edge full-viewport treatment; data-entrance (rise|fade|reveal) entrance style: rise (fade + translate up, staggered), fade (opacity only), reveal (a clip-path wipe), each staggered across eyebrow/heading/subtext/actions; data-entrance-speed (slow|normal|fast) entrance + stagger timing; data-parallax (true|false) toggle: backdrop drifts and the copy panel fades/shifts as the hero leaves the viewport on scroll. Inline JS (init-guarded) drives only what CSS cannot: a canvas dot field that drifts slowly for the particles background (paused/frozen under reduced motion and inside the Etch builder), a Web Animations API loop for the gradient/mesh drift (no @keyframes), and — when data-parallax is on — an rAF-throttled scroll listener that offsets the backdrop and fades/shifts the copy panel as the hero leaves the viewport. The video background is a plain autoplaying, muted, looping `<video>` needing no JS; it pauses automatically under reduced motion. Entrance is CSS-only (@starting-style, staggered per child with a –_i custom property), skipped entirely under prefers-reduced-motion. CTA buttons scale and glow on hover/focus via CSS. Split layout collapses to a single stacked column under 56em; full-bleed fills 100svh; headline scales with clamp(). Visible :focus-visible rings, AA contrast against the scrim, forced-colors support.
