Plain editable Etch tree: section > container > header (eyebrow, h2, intro) > a horizontally scroll-snapping strip of six "Reel Clip" component instances that overlap each other. Only the clip is a component, typed props: poster (image), video (URL, empty keeps a static poster — the mute button hides itself automatically), alt, caption (empty hides its pill). Every option is a data attribute on the strip (Etch's attributes panel): data-theme (light|dark) re-themes the whole section; data-autoplay (true|false) clips with a video source play muted+looped once ~60% visible, and pause off-screen; data-drag (true|false) pointer drag to scroll the strip (it always scroll-snaps natively too); data-expand (true|false) clicking a clip (off its mute button) locks it enlarged until clicked again; data-overlap (em, default 2.25) how much each clip overlaps the one before it. Hovering or focusing a clip lifts it in front of its neighbours and straightens it; clicking anywhere on a clip other than its mute button optionally locks that enlargement until clicked again; each clip with a real video source gets its own mute/unmute toggle and autoplays muted only while scrolled into view (IntersectionObserver), pausing off-screen and never autoplaying under prefers-reduced-motion; drag or native touch-scroll moves the strip, and every clip is reachable and operable by keyboard. Without JS the strip is a plain scroll-snap row of posters. :focus-visible rings, AA contrast in both themes.
