Before you book

How small are the groups?

Never more than twelve travellers, and most departures run with eight to ten. Small enough for family-run guesthouses and last-minute detours.

Who leads the tours?

Every trip is led by a local guide who lives in the region and has walked the route many times. Our trekking guides hold wilderness first-aid certificates.

What is included in the price?

Accommodation, the meals listed day by day, all guiding, entry fees and transport during the trip. International flights and travel insurance are not included.

How fit do I need to be?

Easy trips suit anyone who walks regularly. Moderate means four to six hours on foot most days. Challenging routes have long climbs and altitude, so we send a training plan.

Can I travel solo?

Around half our travellers do. You can share a room with a traveller of the same gender at no extra cost, or book a private room for a supplement.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel up to 60 days before departure and we refund everything except the €250 deposit, which you can move to any future trip.
