Plain editable section (eyebrow, heading, intro) on a deep gradient backdrop, holding six "Orbit Slide" component instances (image, alt, caption — duplicate/reorder/delete in Layers). Built on Swiper's coverflow effect: the active slide sits large and flat at the centre while its neighbours curve away in 3D — rotated, pushed back and dimmed the further they sit from centre — so the row reads as a shallow arc rather than a flat strip. Click a neighbouring slide, drag/swipe, use the arrows, dots or arrow keys to bring it to the centre. Every option is a data attribute on the Carousel element (edit it in Etch's attributes panel): data-theme (light|dark) re-themes the section; data-rotate (deg neighbouring slides tilt away, default 34); data-depth (px neighbours push back on the Z axis, default 260); data-spacing (0-1 how tightly slides overlap, default 0.62); data-scale (0-1 how much the centre slide is enlarged, default 1.12); data-autoplay (true|false), data-delay (ms, default 4200); data-loop (true|false, default true); data-drag (true|false; mouse drag + touch swipe, default true); data-arrows (true|false) and data-pagination (true|false). Inlined JS waits for a global Swiper 11 (injects the jsDelivr build once if nothing provides it), is init-guarded, wires keyboard arrows, the a11y module and a visible pause/play toggle when autoplay is on, and disables autoplay and animated transitions under prefers-reduced-motion. Without JS the row falls back to a flat native scroll-snap strip with the controls hidden. Labelled carousel region, per-slide group labels, :focus-visible rings, AA contrast in both themes.
