Pro and free patterns

Etchedy works on the free plan with no key. A license unlocks everything else.

On the free plan

  • The panel shows your usable patterns together in one Free Packs folder.
  • Every other folder is shown, but locked. Locked patterns carry a Pro badge and a note that you need to activate a license to use them.
  • An Unlock everything card in the panel explains what Pro adds and links to the plans.
  • Folders, Save to Etchedy and import/export are Pro features.

With a license

Activate your key under Etchedy → License and the whole library unlocks, along with the agency tools and automatic updates. See Activate your license.

Things that never lock

  • Patterns you already pasted into pages. They are normal Etch content and keep working if a license expires.
  • Items you saved yourself with Save to Etchedy. They belong to your site.

Spotting free and Pro on etchedy.com

Cards in the library show a Pro badge on locked patterns. The free patterns page lists every free pattern in a simple grid. Free ones can be downloaded without a plan.
